  1. Hope and reassurance: Show affection to your loved one and be present. Exhibit caring and love in your actions and words. Reassure them that they are loved and not alone in their struggle. Convey hope that things will get better and that you are taking the journey alongside them.

Make self-care a priority and apart of your daily routine for both of you: Attend to each other’s emotional, physical and psychological needs by choosing activities and behaviors that promote fulfillment and self-care. Raise positive emotions and pleasure in your life. Choose to do together activities, such as going to a standup comedy, self-expression in arts, walk in nature, self- pampering at the spa etc.
